Refund & Cancellation Policy

Operated by: Richard Lee Garcia Groups, LLC

At Video-Creator.net, we want clients to feel confident when ordering professional video production services.

Because our services involve customized creative work, production time, editing, design, voice generation, animation, project setup, and other labor that may begin soon after payment, we handle refunds differently than for ordinary physical products.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds may be available and how we handle cancellations.

By purchasing services from Video-Creator.net, you agree to this policy.

1. General Refund Policy

We aim to be fair and reasonable.

If you cancel a project before any production work has started, you may request a full refund, minus any non-refundable payment-processing fees or third-party charges already incurred.

Once production has begun, refunds may be reduced based on:

  • Work already completed
  • Time already spent
  • Project planning
  • Scriptwriting
  • Editing
  • Animation
  • Voiceover generation
  • Design work
  • Rendering
  • Purchased third-party assets
  • Production setup
  • Other costs already incurred

Customized work already completed is generally non-refundable.

2. What Counts as Production Having Started

Production may be considered started once we begin any of the following:

  • Reviewing project materials
  • Project planning
  • Research
  • Scriptwriting
  • Script editing
  • Storyboarding
  • Selecting scenes
  • Creating graphics
  • Editing video
  • Creating animation
  • Generating voiceovers
  • Creating avatars
  • Creating spokesperson videos
  • Creating talking-photo content
  • Rendering video
  • Preparing project files
  • Purchasing project-specific third-party assets
  • Assigning the project to production staff

Once any of these activities have started, the project is considered active.

3. Cancellation Before Production Begins

If you cancel before production begins, you may receive a full refund of the amount paid, except for:

  • Payment processor fees
  • Bank fees
  • Currency conversion fees
  • Third-party transaction fees
  • Non-refundable third-party purchases

where applicable.

To request cancellation, contact us promptly after placing your order.

4. Cancellation After Production Begins

If production has already started, any refund will depend on the amount of work completed.

Video-Creator.net may deduct reasonable charges for:

  • Time spent
  • Production work completed
  • Scriptwriting
  • Design
  • Editing
  • Animation
  • Rendering
  • Voiceover
  • Project management
  • Third-party expenses

Any remaining refundable balance may then be returned to the client.

5. Projects That Are Substantially Completed

Once a project is substantially completed, refunds are generally not available.

A project may be considered substantially completed when:

  • A first complete draft has been delivered
  • Most scenes have been created
  • Most editing has been completed
  • The video has entered final revision
  • Final rendering has been completed
  • The project is awaiting client approval

At this stage, the primary remedy is generally revision, not a refund.

6. Completed and Delivered Projects

Once the final video has been:

  • Approved
  • Delivered
  • Downloaded
  • Published
  • Used by the client

the project is considered completed and is generally not eligible for a refund.

7. Revisions Before Refunds

If the client is dissatisfied with a draft, we ask that they use reasonable revision opportunities before requesting a refund.

Many issues can be resolved through revisions.

Depending on the package purchased, revisions may include:

  • Text corrections
  • Scene adjustments
  • Timing changes
  • Voiceover corrections
  • Caption changes
  • Image replacements
  • Minor layout or visual changes

Do not use a refund request as a substitute for reasonable revisions when the project can still be corrected within scope.

8. Change of Mind

A change of mind does not automatically qualify for a full refund once production has started.

Examples include:

  • Deciding not to use video
  • Changing marketing strategy
  • Canceling a product launch
  • Changing business direction
  • Selecting another provider
  • No longer needing the project

Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of production.

9. Client-Supplied Errors

Refunds are not generally provided for errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete client information.

Examples include:

  • Incorrect phone number
  • Incorrect pricing
  • Incorrect website address
  • Misspelled names
  • Wrong product information
  • Inaccurate dates
  • Incorrect claims
  • Incorrect contact information

If you request corrections after approval, additional revision charges may apply.

10. AI-Generated or Automated Content

Some projects may use AI-assisted technology.

Minor imperfections may occur, including:

  • Lip-sync differences
  • Voice pronunciation variations
  • Minor image artifacts
  • Animation inconsistencies
  • Small rendering imperfections

These issues do not automatically qualify for a refund if they can reasonably be corrected through revisions.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct material issues within the agreed project scope.

11. Third-Party Platform Limitations

Some services rely on third-party technology providers.

Refunds may not be available for issues caused solely by temporary third-party limitations if the project can still be completed using a reasonable alternative.

Examples include:

  • Temporary software outages
  • Rendering delays
  • Feature changes
  • Platform downtime
  • API interruptions
  • Voice availability changes
  • Asset availability changes

If a service becomes permanently unavailable and we cannot reasonably complete the project, we may offer:

  • An alternative service
  • Project credit
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund for the uncompleted portion

depending on the circumstances.

12. Rush Orders

Rush or expedited service fees are generally non-refundable once rush production has started.

This is because rush orders require:

  • Schedule priority
  • Production reallocation
  • Additional staff time
  • Accelerated workflow

13. Custom Third-Party Purchases

Certain project-specific costs may be non-refundable.

Examples include:

  • Stock video
  • Stock images
  • Premium music
  • Licensed graphics
  • Paid voice assets
  • Translation services
  • Specialized production assets

If you have already incurred these costs for your project, they may be deducted from any refund.

14. Subscription or Monthly Content Packages

If Video-Creator.net offers recurring or monthly video packages, cancellation terms will depend on the applicable subscription plan.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Clients may cancel future billing before the next renewal date
  • Work already completed during the current billing period is non-refundable
  • Unused future services may be canceled according to plan terms

Separate recurring-service terms may apply.

15. Agency and White-Label Projects

Agency, bulk-production, or white-label projects may have separate refund terms.

Because these projects often involve:

  • Reserved production capacity
  • Volume pricing
  • Dedicated workflow
  • Custom branding
  • Client-specific fulfillment

Refunds may be limited once production capacity has been reserved or work has started.

The applicable Agency or White-Label Service Agreement will govern which terms apply.

16. Project Abandonment

If a client fails to respond, provide materials, or approve work for more than 30 days, the project may be placed on hold.

If the project remains inactive for an extended period, we may consider it abandoned.

Payments made for completed work or reserved production capacity may not be refundable.

A reactivation fee may apply if you later reopen the project.

17. Duplicate Payments

If you are accidentally charged twice for the same order, please contact us.

Verified duplicate payments will be refunded.

18. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe someone used your payment method without authorization, contact us immediately.

We may request reasonable verification before issuing a refund.

You should also contact your financial institution.

19. Refund Method

We will generally return approved refunds to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.

Refund processing times depend on:

  • Payment processor
  • Bank
  • Card issuer
  • Payment method

Once we issue a refund, we do not control how quickly your financial institution posts the funds.

20. Refund Processing Time

We typically submit approved refunds within a reasonable processing period after approval.

Please allow additional time for the payment provider or financial institution to complete the transaction.

21. Chargebacks

We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback.

Most billing or project disputes can be resolved directly.

If a chargeback is initiated after substantial work has been completed, we may provide documentation to the payment processor showing:

  • Order records
  • Project communication
  • Work completed
  • Draft delivery
  • Revision history
  • Approval records
  • Delivery records

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in termination of services.

22. Refund Requests

Refund requests should include:

  • Client name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Order number
  • Project name
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request

Send requests to:

23. Refund Review

Refund requests will be reviewed based on:

  • Project stage
  • Work completed
  • Time spent
  • Third-party expenses
  • Client communication
  • Deliverables provided
  • Applicable project agreement
  • Applicable package terms

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve refund requests fairly.

24. Relationship With Other Agreements

This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with:

  • Terms & Conditions
  • Privacy Policy
  • Video Production Service Agreement
  • Agency or White-Label Agreement
  • Project proposal
  • Invoice
  • Order form

If a signed project-specific agreement contains different refund terms, the project-specific agreement will generally control.

25. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

We will post updates on this page with a revised effective date.
